Quality Checks During Production

5 Quality Checks From Incoming Materials to Shipment

We review the required checks for incoming materials, first articles, production, inspection and shipment. The quotation will state which checks apply to your order based on your files and quality requirements.

01

Incoming Inspection

Before production, we check the identity, condition and required documents for the PCBs, components and materials specified for your order.

02

First Article Check

When first-article approval is required, we check placement, polarity, orientation, workmanship and other agreed build details before the remaining batch continues.

03

In-Process Inspection

During PCB fabrication and PCBA assembly, we perform the agreed inspections to identify issues before they affect additional units.

04

Inspection and Testing

We use the visual, SPI, AOI, X-ray, electrical or functional checks included in the quotation when they are suitable for the product and the required test inputs are available.

05

Shipment Check

Before shipment, we verify the finished quantity, workmanship, completed tests, packaging and required delivery records.

The quotation will confirm the required inspection and test methods based on the PCB construction, component packages, assembly process, test access and your acceptance criteria.

Inspection Method Selection

How We Select Inspection and Test Methods for Your PCB or PCBA

Tell us which defects, acceptance criteria and result records are important when you send your files for review. We review the board design, component packages and test access to confirm the suitable inspection or test methods.
