MES records help the project team verify which approved order was built, which identified materials entered production and which recorded steps were completed. The exact coverage depends on the identifiers, equipment connections and reports agreed for your order.

When UID and SN capture are included in the approved production route, the production team can follow the material forward into the related build or follow a finished product back to the recorded materials and process history.

Two practical lookup directions

Use forward traceability to identify where a controlled material was used. Use reverse traceability to review what recorded materials and process steps are linked to a finished unit.

Project boundary: complete UID-to-SN coverage is not assumed for every order. Required identifiers, scan points, connected inspection data, record format and retention period must be agreed before production.

Does every order include complete UID-to-SN traceability?
No. Traceability depth depends on the identifiers, scan points, route, connected data and reports agreed for the order. We confirm the included scope in the project review and quotation.
Are SPI, AOI, X-ray and test results stored in MES?
Available inspection and test data can be linked where the method and equipment integration apply to the approved route. We confirm which results and reports are available before production.
Can traceability records be supplied with the shipment?
Yes, when the required records, format and delivery timing are agreed before quotation. The quotation or project documents will identify the records included.
How long are production and quality records retained?
The applicable retention period is confirmed by project and record type. Tell us your required period before quotation so we can verify availability and include it in the agreed scope.
What should we send before quotation?
