FAQ

Drone & UAV PCB and PCBA Questions

What drone electronics boards can EBest manufacture?
EBest can review customer-designed flight-controller, ESC, power-distribution, VTX/RF, navigation, sensor, gimbal and payload-interface boards. Manufacturing capability and process scope are confirmed from the released files.
What files should I send for a drone PCB or PCBA review?
Send the available Gerber or ODB++ data, BOM with manufacturer part numbers, pick-and-place data, fabrication and assembly drawings, stack-up or impedance requirements, test criteria, quantity and target date. Missing inputs can be identified during review.
Can EBest build high-current ESC and power boards?
Yes, subject to engineering review. Provide current, copper, thermal, connector, MOSFET and acceptance requirements so the PCB construction, soldering process and inspection route can be evaluated.
Can EBest manufacture controlled-impedance VTX or RF boards?
Yes, subject to engineering and material review. Provide the required material, stack-up, impedance targets, RF interfaces and controlled drawings. Final material availability, fabrication route and verification method are confirmed before production.
Does EBest develop flight-control firmware?
No. Firmware development is not included in the default PCB and PCBA manufacturing scope. For programming or functional testing, the customer normally provides approved firmware, programming instructions, fixtures or test procedures and acceptance criteria.
Can you provide conformal coating or potting?
Yes, subject to project review. Provide the coating or potting specification, keep-out areas, masking requirements, material preference and inspection criteria so availability and process details can be confirmed.
How do you move a UAV PCBA from prototype to repeat production?
The approved revision, BOM, fabrication data, assembly instructions, process exceptions, inspection coverage and customer-defined test criteria are controlled before repeat production. Any design or sourcing change must be reviewed before release.
Can I request an NDA before sending UAV project files?
Yes. Request the NDA first and confirm the confidentiality route before exchanging controlled project documents.
