Use a revision-controlled change process that identifies affected PCB data, BOM lines, firmware, drawings, tooling, inventory and test instructions. The release should state the effective build or date and disposition of old material. Before a repeat order, confirm that the requested revision and approved deviations still apply rather than relying only on the previous purchase order.
