Quotations may include different PCB constructions, component sources, inspection levels, testing scopes, tooling assumptions, scrap allowances and logistics terms. A lower total can therefore represent a different manufacturing scope rather than the same build at a lower cost.
Compare the approved BOM, board specification, test coverage, quality records, lead time basis and excluded items before choosing a supplier.
