Surface finish should be selected according to assembly process, component pitch, solderability requirements, storage conditions, reliability expectations, cost and any applicable compliance requirement. No single finish is best for every board.
For example, fine-pitch assembly, edge contacts, wire bonding and high-temperature use can create different requirements. EBest PCBA reviews the application and board specification before confirming the finish.
