A PCBA assembly drawing should identify component outlines, reference designators, polarity, orientation, DNP positions, connector direction and any assembly notes that cannot be understood from the centroid file alone. Mark special handling, adhesive, coating, hardware and manual-soldering requirements where applicable. A clear drawing reduces engineering questions and helps inspection compare the finished assembly with the approved revision.
