Use one revision-controlled ZIP package with separate folders or clear names for PCB fabrication, BOM, placement data, assembly drawings, test instructions and mechanical files. Put the project name and revision in the archive name and avoid mixing superseded files with the release set. A short readme listing the authoritative files and open questions helps prevent an older BOM or drawing from being quoted by mistake.
